WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE
WITH A HOT AND COLD STONE THERAPY AND A
MASSAGE THAT INTEGRATES HOT AND COLD STONES? |
|
Hot stone therapy is purely massaging with the
stones only,( there are many stones and
different shapes of stones to use) there is
barely any massaging by the hands directly,
unlike in swedish or remedial. This ensures
full benefits from the stones. From head to
toe- back, legs, arms, feet, face, abdomen,
these relaxing hot stones are applied and
feels awesome.
Soulful Hot Stone & Invigorating Cold stone- ( Totally Relaxing) Fluent relaxation massage strokes with hot stones diffuse deep penetrating heat, like taking a warm bath. The stones are then placed on certain areas of the body and left there til all the heat from the stone have been absorbed. Cold stones have a refreshing cool wet feel, to gently cool you down and increase circulation, feels fantastic on really hot days.
Remedial & Hot Stone Fusion- ( The most popular choice) Remedial techniques targeting tension areas, whilst also utilising the heat from the stones to futher enhance relaxation and suppleness of the muscles , as well as using cold stones for decreasing inflammation and feeling refreshed. The blend of two styles of massage is the ultimate in therapeutic techniques for sore muscles and tension. The amount of cold/hot stone used depends on your Constitution .
